Achievement whores that is…I wouldn’t know about the other kind.

The head behind Gears Of War has decided that the sequel to the hit game will crack down on the amount of multiplayer achievements that can be unlocked at one time.

“If you’re going for headshots, you get one headshot that counts and any other headshots won’t count towards your Achievement, so players don’t just play to get headshots the entire round just to get Achievements.” says Cliffy B

As someone who likes achievements, but isn’t quite a whore yet, i’m not sure if I like the sound of this. Does this mean that if you get happen to be the only one who gets a kill and they all happen to be highly skillful headshots then only one is counted? Boo!

Easy solution? Make all the achievements offline ala COD 4. Problem Solved

Oh….is that it?

After a suprisingly decent 1st issue, Secret Invasion is back to what I (and most probably) expected…a whole load of nothingness padded out to fill a single issue. So it seems that Mockingbird is not a skrull and supposedly, neither is the returned Cap. Fairly big revelations, but yet thats all that seems to happen in the whole issue. Oh Bendis..you were going so good at the beginning.

So I come out of the local newsagents after getting my bus pass and something catches my eye on the newsboard…

JESUS CHRIST! ZOMBIES! IN LEWISHAM!….thats pretty sweet. So after a little investimagation I come across the relevant news article on the South London Press website.

In 2004, The Duke of Albany pub in New Cross became “The Winchester” for cult zombie movie Shaun Of The Dead and was used as the set for scenes from the hit film.

In real life, the three-storey Monson Road Victorian pub in the Hatcham Conservation Area, which was popular with Millwall football fans on matchdays, has closed down.
